One of the great things about March Madness is its ability to turn an otherwise average person into an overnight sensation. At least, and overnight basketball sensation.

We’ve had Sister Jean. Now we have Amir “Aura” Khan, a McNeese manager who is known originally from the following video:

And thanks in part to that video, combined with McNeese’s success so far in March, Khan is receiving call after call from companies and brands wanting to work with him. According to CBS Sports’ Matt Norlander, Khan has heard from Buffalo Wild Wings, TickPick, TurboTax and more.

And on Saturday, Khan pulled up to McNeese’s matchup against Purdue in a yellow, customized jumpsuit from Under Armour with “Aura” on the back.

McNeese had an incredibly impressive opening game against Clemson. The Cowboys, who won the Southland conference title over Lamar a week ago, entered the tournament as a 12-seed and defeated 5-seed Clemson in a game that wasn’t as close as its final score would indicate. The Cowboys moved on to face Purdue with a 69-67 win. McNeese has lost just once since the Christmas break.

Unfortunately for the Cowboys, they’re off to a rough start against Matt Painter and the Purdue Boilermakers. Purdue leads by 20 as we near the halftime break with a date in the Sweet 16 on the line.
