Auburn forward Sebastian Williams-Adams will return to Auburn for the 2026-27 season.

The program officially confirmed Williams-Adams’s decision on Friday morning. He joins guards Simon Walker and Kevin Overton as the 3 players who have officially committed to coach Steven Pearl for another year.

A 6-foot-8 forward from Houston, Williams-Adams appeared in all 38 games for the Tigers during his freshman season. He averaged 27.4 minutes per game while making 21 starts. Williams-Adams put up per-game averages of 7.0 points and 3.5 rebounds with 1.5 assists, 1.2 steals, and 0.8 blocks per game. He shot 51% from the field and knocked down 12 triples.

Auburn went 22-16 last season. In Pearl’s first year running the program, the Tigers missed the NCAA Tournament, but effectively compartmentalized that disappointment and ripped off 5 straight wins to end the year with an NIT Championship.

“We have seen what we can do in the NIT with how we performed. I think for us, that’s important, looking at what our next chapter is,” Williams-Adams said after the NIT win, per AL.com. “It’s important to realize, like, OK, this core won the NIT together. What could we do with a roster where we know what we have? We can just add pieces to complement it.”
