There’s just 1 SEC slate left before the calendar flips to March.

The headliner on Saturday is Alabama vs. Tennessee, although Florida vs. Arkansas is another top-25 matchup that will carry plenty of postseason implications.

As always, this piece will cover 3 picks to consider on Underdog Fantasy from across the SEC’s loaded schedule on Saturday.

College Basketball DFS picks today

Let’s dive in:

Otega Oweh higher than 19.5 points

Otega Oweh is Kentucky’s best scorer by a significant margin. He only scored 8 points in his last game (on 3-of-13 shooting) but had scored 20+ points in 7 of his previous 8 games prior to that dud. That includes a 20-point performance on just 7-of-19 shooting against this same Vanderbilt team in Nashville back in January. Oweh is going to have plenty of volume to put up a significant score in this contest and I think he’ll find enough efficiency to score 20+.

Somto Cyril lower than 6.5 rebounds

Somto Cyril is one of the worst rebounding centers in the SEC with a 14.5% defensive rebounding rate so far this year. He’s also not been a lock for significant minutes lately as he’s registered 25 or fewer minutes in 5 of his last 7 games. He’s recorded 8 rebounds in 2 of his last 3 contests, but prior to that hot streak, hadn’t cleared 7 boards in a game since Jan. 20. He’s only averaging 4.8 rebounds per game in conference play, so I think you’re getting a great price here for him to go lower than 6.5 boards.

Felix Okpara lower than 8.5 rebounds

I’m also fading Felix Okpara in this spot. He’s only averaging 5.8 rebounds per game during conference play. It’s certainly worth noting that Tennessee is playing a fast-paced Alabama team, which will create more possessions than the Vols usually have (and thus more rebounding opportunities). But Okpara played 34 minutes against Alabama when these teams met earlier this season (his SEC average is about 27) he still went well below the projection of 8.5 rebounds. Unless this game turns into a track meet, this should be a comfortable pick.
