College GameDay crew makes picks for major March 1 SEC battles

College GameDay was live from Gainesville on Saturday morning ahead of a night game between the No. 3 Florida Gators and the No. 12 Texas A&M Aggies.
That game is 1 of 3 ranked vs. ranked matchups on the SEC slate for Saturday, March 1. The GameDay crew, led by host Rece Davis and comprised of analysts Jay Williams, Andraya Carter, Seth Greenberg and Jay Bilas, made picks for some of those big-time matchups.
With so many ranked-on-ranked games, there were some disagreements on who would win. Here’s a look at who the ESPN crew thinks will win Saturday’s biggest games:
No. 1 Auburn at No. 17 Kentucky

- Andraya: Auburn
- Greenberg: Kentucky
- Bilas: No pick (he’s calling the game)
No. 6 Alabama at No. 5 Tennessee

No. 12 Texas A&M at No. 3 Florida
- J-Will: Florida

It’s shaping up to be yet another exciting Saturday of SEC men’s basketball. Will the GameDay crew be proven right? Will we see any major upsets with Selection Sunday coming up in 2 short weeks? Auburn, Tennessee, Alabama and Florida are all still in the mix to be 1-seeds in March Madness if things break right.
