Tuesday night in the SEC features a trio of games that should all matter for the March Madness scene later this season. Florida is surging, and it’ll host South Carolina at home in pursuit of a sixth straight win. Georgia heads to Lexington in search of a résumé-saving win over Kentucky. Then Texas hosts LSU at home, looking to take a step toward safety after picking up a massive win at Mizzou over the weekend.
Let’s take a look at some DFS angles to attack.

Florida G Xaivian Lee: Higher than 10.5 points vs. South Carolina
South Carolina’s statistical profile suggests its 3-point defense is a strength amid a sea of weaknesses. The Gamecocks are allowing 32% shooting from deep on the season (72nd), and opponents aren’t peppering them from deep very often (35.2% of attempts, 51st).
Recent form suggests something different. During the current 6-game losing streak, the Gamecocks are getting hammered from deep. Aden Holloway and Labaron Philon Jr. combined to hit 8 of their 12 triples in a 14-point Alabama win. Mizzou guard Jayden Stone hit 3-of-4 to aid in a 22-point effort. Texas wing Camden Heide hit 3 of 6. LSU’s Max Mackinnon and Rashad King combined to hit 6-of-12. Texas A&M forward Zach Clemence came off the bench Jan. 24 to knock down 7 of his 8 triples.
When Florida beat South Carolina by 47 points on Jan. 28, Xaivian Lee got off only 8 shots in 26 minutes. He missed all 4 of his triples and scored only 6 points. A few nights later, he went 0-for-3 from deep for another 6-point performance.
Lee has caught fire since. He scored 18 points (7-14 FG, 3-9 3P) in a win at Georgia, then followed that effort up with 22 points (7-12 FG, 4-7 3P) in the win over Kentucky last Saturday. Florida shouldn’t have any issues with South Carolina at home, which means minutes might be limited again, but Lee has found his shooting touch lately and only needs to see a couple of 3s to fall to threaten this number. I like his chances.

Florida F Alex Condon higher than 1.5 blocks vs. South Carolina
Sticking with this Gator-Gamecock matchup, Florida’s Alex Condon stands to have a big day on the defensive end of the floor. Condon had 2 blocks when these teams first met last month. That was 1 of 3 consecutive games with multiple blocks for the 6-foot-11 forward. Condon has at least 1 block in 10 of his last 11 games, and he has multiple swats in 7 games across that stretch.
He’ll have a significant size advantage against a South Carolina team that doesn’t have a player in the rotation standing above 6-foot-9. And he’ll have a group coming at him that gets a ton of its looks blocked. The Gamecocks rank 318th nationally, with blocks on 11.5% of their shot attempts this season, per KenPom.

Georgia G Jeremiah Wilkinson lower than 2.5 made 3-pointers at Kentucky
Georgia is slumping, and surely feeling the effects of its NCAA Tournament hopes slipping. The Bulldogs won 13 of their first 14 games and have lost 7 of 11 since. During that stretch, their shooting has dropped off a cliff — 42.8% from the field and 31.0% from 3.
The Dawgs have struggled without their leading guard, Jeremiah Wilkinson, who missed games against Florida and Oklahoma with an injury. Florida blew the Dawgs out. Oklahoma used an 18-0 second-half run to turn a halftime deficit into a 16-point win.
Wilkinson is expected to return to the floor against Kentucky, but he hasn’t had his shooting touch for some time, so a rousing return to the fold doesn’t seem likely. Wilkinson made just 3 of his last 24 attempts from beyond the arc before exiting the lineup. He takes 7 a game, but he’s a career 32.7% shooter who might struggle against this Kentucky defense even at full strength. The Wildcats are 47th nationally in 3-point defense (31.1%) and do an effective job of taking away the kinds of 3s Wilkinson wants to take.
