We have a jam-packed schedule on Tuesday, with 14 of the SEC’s 16 teams in action all throughout the evening. Let’s take a look at some DFS angles to attack.

Tennessee F Jaylen Carey higher than 7.5 rebounds at South Carolina

With no Nate Ament for this game, expect a very specific style of play. When South Carolina meets Tennessee, the game is usually a rock fight, and with Ament out of the lineup, Tennessee gets a little less offensively fluid and a little more defensively rugged. A feature of this game should be a healthy rebounding advantage for a Tennessee team that dominates the offensive glass better than anyone in the country. South Carolina is terrible on the boards to boot. Ament is the Vols’ leading rebounder at 6.4 boards per contest, but Jaylen Carey is Tennessee’s most tenacious. Carey has a rebounding rate of 18.6%, which leads the team, and a per-40 average of 13.3 rebounds, which also leads the team. He had 9 against Alabama on Saturday and 10 against Mizzou last week.

Georgia C Somto Cyril lower than 13.5 points vs. Alabama

KenPom projects a 92-91 Alabama win. The potential for an overtime game between 2 of the most free-flowing offenses in college basketball is significant. Pace of play should be breakneck between an Alabama group that ranks fourth in adjusted tempo and a Georgia squad that ranks 22nd. We know Alabama wants to put up 3s, and the backcourt powers play. For Georgia, guards Jeremiah Wilkinson, Blue Cain, and Marcus Millender are going to need to knock down shots to keep pace. I don’t see this being a game that features Somto Cyril in the paint. Long shots from Alabama will lead to long rebounds and run-outs for Georgia. And, according to Hoop-Explorer, Alabama holds opponents 5 percentage points below the national average on 2s at the rim.

Mizzou G Jayden Stone higher than 15.5 points + rebounds at Oklahoma

When these 2 teams met in January, Mizzou’s Jayden Stone scored 20 points and grabbed 7 boards. He hit 20 despite missing 6 of his 8 attempts from 3-point range. Granted, that first meeting went to overtime, but Stone is once again a player to target against this Oklahoma profile. Mizzou gets opposing bigs in foul trouble. Oklahoma’s Mohamed Wague doesn’t stay out of foul trouble. And, over the last month, Oklahoma is one of the nation’s worst defensive rebounding teams. Stone is coming off 2 terrible shooting performances — 0 points (0-5 FG) in 18 minutes against Tennessee, 8 points (1-5 FG) in 33 minutes against Mississippi State — that don’t reflect who he is as a player. He’s a 49.5% shooter on the season and a near-40% shooter from 3. He’s also a player who always sticks his nose in the paint to grab rebounds. He has at least 5 boards in 12 games so far this season.
