We have a full slate of SEC college basketball action on Wednesday night. Let’s take a look at some DFS angles to attack.

Wednesday, Feb. 25 SEC DFS predictions

Below are 3 DFS picks from 3 of Wednesday night’s games across the SEC. All of them can be found inside one of the best apps for daily fantasy sports on the market — Underdog. New users can hit the banner below each player pick and our SDS sign-up bonus will be applied to your account.

Florida G Xaivian Lee higher than 14.5 points+assists at Texas

As Florida has ripped off a season-high 7 consecutive wins, guard Xaivian Lee has found his footing in the offensive attack. He played 26 minutes but shot 0-for-4 in the blowout win over South Carolina on Jan. 28. He played just 17 minutes while shooting 3-for-11 in the win over Alabama on Feb. 1. In the 5 wins since, Lee has averaged 14.0 points, 6.0 assists, and 29.8 minutes per contest while shooting 49.1% from the field. He has at least 14.5 points+assists in 4 straight games, and there’s a good pathway toward that number against the Longhorns on the road. In conference play this season, Texas opponents have shot the lights out from 3. Georgia shot 55% from 3 in its win over the Longhorns — the third consecutive opponent to clear 40% from distance.

Alabama G Aden Holloway higher than 18.5 points vs. Mississippi State

Alabama could be without its star guard, Labaron Philon, against the Bulldogs. Philon was listed as questionable on the availability report sent to the SEC on Tuesday. He was listed as probable heading into the LSU game over the weekend, and though he played, he scored a season-low 8 points and played 24 minutes. If Philon is still limited, Alabama will need to balance the scoring burden the way it did against LSU, when 5 different players scored at least 14 but no one had more than 17.

Against Mississippi State, though, someone may pop off. MSU’s defense is giving up big games to lead guards left and right. Philon scored 32 against the Bulldogs in the first meeting. Plus, Mississippi State has given up 97 points and 85 points in back-to-back games against South Carolina and Auburn. I like Aden Holloway here. In the only game this season Holloway played without Philon in the lineup, he took 15 shots, 10 of them from 3, and scored 26 points to go with 7 assists. That kind of usage against this MSU defense is a good combo.

Arkansas F Billy Richmond III higher than 14.5 points vs. Texas A&M

The Aggies want to run and gun. They play at a top-40 tempo in college basketball, jack 3s with fervor, and swing the basketball around. During the 4-game losing streak, the defense also gave up an average of 88.5 points per game. Texas A&M has gotten right again, with wins over Ole Miss and Oklahoma, but Arkansas is a different beast. Points should be aplenty.

We’re continuing to ride Billy Richmond’s hot streak. The Arkansas wing started 4 times and averaged just 22.4 minutes per game through the first 22 contests for Arkansas this season. He took 5.9 shots per game and averaged 8.5 points. Over the Razorbacks’ last 5 games, Richmond has taken firm hold of a starting spot on the wing, averaged 33.6 minutes per game, taken 13.6 shots per contest, and scored 18.6 points per game. He has at least 20 in 3 straight. The injury to Karter Knox presented an opportunity, and Richmond has run with it.
