ESPN analyst discusses rumors of SEC coaches’ interest in Louisville job

Rumors are swirling after Louisville parted ways with men’s basketball coach Chris Mack this week.
Some of the names connected to the job are current SEC head coaches, like Auburn’s Bruce Pearl, Alabama’s Nate Oats, Arkansas’s Eric Musselman and LSU’s Will Wade.
Would any of those guys actually leave their current jobs for Louisville? ESPN’s Katie George, a Louisville alum, discussed on SiriusXM that it depends on how those coaches see Louisville:
Chris Mack is out at Louisville.
Where does @Katie_George05 think her alma mater's basketball program stands in terms of attracting their next head coach? She talked about that and more on #ACCRadio! #GoCards pic.twitter.com/gVbweZWfDn

“Do they look at the current positions they hold and say, ‘No, no, no, we’ve got it going on here. Our program is better and more special than what is happening in Louisville right now.’ Or, do they still look at it and think of the Louisville that was 10, 20 years ago?” George wonders. “I don’t know.”
Louisville was a national powerhouse under Rick Pitino. That isn’t the case anymore, but there’s still a ravenous fan base. Who will the Cardinals hire? That remains to be seen.
