Kentucky picked up a win in the first round of the SEC Tournament and will now face off against the Missouri Tigers for a chance to play Florida in the quarterfinals. ESPN Analytics has predicted a winner and heavily favors one team.

The Wildcats took down the LSU Tigers on Wednesday, 87-82. Otega Oweh led the Wildcats in points, rebounds, and assists with 23 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists. Junior forward Bradon Garrison also chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds off the bench.

Missouri finished just one spot ahead of Kentucky in the SEC regular season standings, earning them a first-round bye. The Tigers come into the tournament on a 2-game losing streak. They’ll be looking to bounce back versus a team that they already beat earlier this year, 73-68, back in early January.

However, ESPN Analytics doesn’t pay too much attention to the last matchup between these two teams, as it favors the Wildcats to come out victorious with a 67.2% chance of winning. Giving the Tigers just a 32.8% chance of winning.
