ESPN Analytics believes that Porter Moser’s Oklahoma team is a slight underdog when they take on Texas A&M in a SEC Second Round matchup.

Oklahoma looked to be almost eliminated from the NCAA Tournament conversation after losing to the Aggies late in the regular season. However, the Sooners have started to play their best basketball of the year, and have won five straight games entering Thursday’s game.

The Aggies have won two straight games to end the regular season, and will be looking to increase their seeding for the NCAA Tournament.

The Aggies have a 58.7 % chance to prevail over Oklahoma, according to the ESPN Analytics. The matchup will be on the SECNetwork, being placed in the 9:30 p.m. ET window.

The Sooners got things started in the SEC Tournament with an 86-74 victory over the South Carolina Gamecocks. Guard Nigel Pack scored 24 points, while Derrion Reid scored 20. Oklahoma needs to go on a magical run in the SEC Tournament if it wants to make the NCAA Tournament, as the Sooners may only make it with the automatic bid.

Texas A&M will be playing its first game of the SEC Tournament, after earning the No. 6 seed in the conference.
