ESPN Analytics believes that Nate Oats’ Alabama team has a slight advantage on Tuesday night as it travels to Columbia to take on Georgia for a primetime SEC showdown.

Alabama has been on a tear as of late in SEC play, as the Crimson Tide have won 8 consecutive games since losing to Florida. In their most recent win, the Crimson Tide picked up a huge 71-69 road victory at Tennessee. Alabama got off to a slow start in SEC play, as the Crimson Tide were just 4-4 in the conference after that loss to the Gators. Now, the Crimson Tide sit in second place in the conference, trailing the Gators by two games.

The Crimson Tide have a 54.2% chance to prevail over Georgia, according to the ESPN Analytics. The matchup is set to tip at 6:30 p.m. ET on ESPNEWS.

That number is similar to what the Crimson Tide are getting on prediction market Kalshi, where anyone can wager on the game by predicting the outcome. Here’s a look at Kalshi’s latest odds for tonight’s game:

Alabama is in a situation where it is trying to get the best possible seed in the NCAA Tournament. For the Georgia Bulldogs, this is the type of game that could all but stamp their ticket to the Big Dance. Georgia is currently 20-9 on the season, and sits at 8-8 in SEC play. The Bulldogs have won three of their last four games, and are coming off an 87-68 victory against South Carolina.
