The 2025 ACC/SEC Challenge is officially set for December. On Thursday, ESPN announced the dates for the men’s (Dec. 2-3) and women’s (Dec. 3-4) games, confirming men’s matchups revealed by college basketball insider Jon Rothstein.
Here’s how the men’s challenge looks this year:
The men’s Tuesday lineup is headlined by defending national champion Florida’s trip to Duke, a fellow Final Four squad from the 2025 NCAA Tournament. In a battle of bluebloods, Kentucky is set to host North Carolina.

Wednesday features Will Wade leading NC State into Auburn’s hostile Jungle environment. John Calipari coaches against Louisville again, this time with his Year 2 Arkansas Razorbacks.
In 2 years of the Challenge, the SEC men have a 21-9 record after a dominant 14-2 performance in 2024. The conferences split 7-7 in 2023.
The women’s field features national champion runner-up South Carolina taking on a Louisville squad expected to be featured in the top 25. Other intriguing matchups include LSU at Duke and NC State at Oklahoma.
