The 2022-23 men’s college basketball season is still a few months away, but rosters are nearly finalized and we now know which teams look to have the best players.
On Tuesday, ESPN expert Jeff Borzello ranked his top 25 teams heading into this coming season, and he had 5 SEC squads in the rankings.
As you can see below, Kentucky leads the way at No. 4, with Alabama as the last SEC team in the top 25, checking in at No. 19:
- No. 4 — Kentucky
- No. 10 — Arkansas
- No. 12 — Auburn
- No. 13 — Tennessee
- No. 19 — Alabama
Each of those teams will have at least 1 key freshman it will rely on to step into a big role. So, we’ll see which of these squads thrive and which are ranked a bit too high heading into the 2022-23 campaign.
