Kevin Harlan really is one of the best in the game..
In perhaps the most memorable moment of the 2023 NCAA Tournament thus far, 13-seed Furman advanced to the Round of 32 with an improbable, yet incredible shot to take the lead over 4-seed Virginia with just seconds remaining Thursday. The Paladins forced Virginia guard Kihei Clark into a trap, baiting him into an ill-advised cross-court pass that was intercepted and kicked to JP Pegues for a 3. The attempt splashed through the net and everyone in the building, naturally, went crazy.
The broadcast crew of Harlan, Stan Van Gundy and Dan Bonner were no exception. Their genuine reactions to the incredible shot were released Monday:

Furman was later defeated in the Round of 32 by San Diego State, which is now set to face off against Alabama for a spot in the Elite 8. The above was the Paladins’ first NCAA Tournament win since 1974.
