ESPN analyst Jay Bilas is here to help you fill out your bracket. The Duke alum has gone through the entire bracket and picked his winners, and we’ll be looking at his prediction for Arkansas versus Hawai’i.
Jon Calipari is in his second year as the head coach of the Razorbacks. After a loss in the Sweet 16 last year, Calipari and the Razorbacks will be looking to make a much deeper run.
Led by star freshman Darius Acuff Jr., this Razorback team can beat anybody on any given night, but having to travel to the West Coast to face off against the Rainbow Warriors is no easy first-round matchup. The Razorbacks are hot, coming off an SEC Tournament win over the Vanderbilt Commodores, but will they be able to ride this momentum all the way to the West Coast?
Bilas seems to think so, and he’s taking the Razorbacks to get the win against the Rainbow Warriors.
“The Rainbow Warriors can slow the game down against the Razorbacks, but Arkansas freshman Darius Acuff Jr. is the type of player who can carry a team to a Final Four,” Bilas writes. “This is a tempting upset pick, but I am going with Arkansas.”
Tipoff for this game is set for 4:25 p.m. ET.
