Joe Lunardi is out with his latest bracketology storylines for SEC teams as there are some intriguing developments as the men’s basketball season approaches the stretch run.

Kentucky and Georgia will meet for an interesting game at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday on ESPN, and Lunardi, the ESPN bracketologist, said that the Wildcats are not currently in the NCAA Tournament field. However, “that would change with a victory over Georgia. Can we even imagine UK in Dayton for the First Four?”

Meanwhile, Tennessee remains a No. 2 season regardless of the outcome of the Mississippi State game, which is set for 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday.

The SEC also boasts Alabama as a projected No. 1 seed, along with Kansas, Houston and Purdue.

Beyond the bubble, Texas A&M is the 4th team among the “first four out,” and Florida is the 3rd team on the “next four out” pecking order. Mississippi State is also considered in that category of teams.
