Joe Lunardi is ESPN’s bracketology expert and he’s updated his NCAA Tournament projections for 2023.

A total of 7 SEC teams were included in the latest field of 68 teams, with 2 on the outside looking in, as both Ole Miss and Florida were among the “Next 4 Out” squads.

Tennessee leads the way for the SEC as a No. 2 seed. Meanwhile, Mizzou is making its first appearance in the field as a No. 10 seed.

Here are Lunardi’s full SEC-related projections:

  • Tennessee — No. 2 seed (South)
  • Arkansas — No. 3 seed (Midwest)
  • Alabama — No. 3 seed (East)
  • Auburn — No. 5 seed (South)
  • Kentucky — No. 5 seed (East)
  • Mississippi State — No. 6 seed (South)
  • Mizzou — No. 10 seed (West)
  • Ole Miss — Next 4 Out
  • Florida — Next 4 Out

This weekend is a busy one around the men’s college hoops world, so we’ll see what next week’s bracketology brings.
