We’re less than a week away from college football being back, but a SEC basketball target announced some notable news Monday afternoon. Labaron Philon, a 6-3 PG out of Link Academy in Branson, Missouri, has finalized his top 4.
The shifty PG included a pair of SEC programs in his final list. He’ll decide between Alabama, Ole Miss, Kansas and Cincinnati.
Philon is originally from Mobile, Alabama but is transferring to the prep hoops powerhouse Link for this upcoming season. He originally committed to play for Bruce Pearl and Auburn early in 2023 be de-committed a few months ago.

Philon is a 4-star in the Class of 2024 rankings, considered to be the No. 31 prospect in the nation per 247Sports’ composite rankings. That same metric has Philon rated as the No. 3 point guard and No. 2 player out of the state of Missouri.
