There’s never a bad time to dive into the latest March Madness odds, and the way-too-early odds for the 2026 NCAA Tournament are already out!

On Monday night, Florida stormed back from a 2nd-half deficit to claim the 2024-25 national title with a win over Houston. It gives the Gators a 3rd title in program history and the first for head coach Todd Golden in just his 3rd season with the program.

In spite of that title, it is not Florida who headlines the early odds to lift the trophy in 2026. That would be Jon Scheyer and his Duke program, coming in at +1000 to win it all via FanDuel. While the Blue Devils are expected to lose freshman phenom Cooper Flagg and others to the NBA Draft, they also have the top-rated recruiting class in the country, headlined by a 5-star duo in the Boozer Twins.

In fact, Florida does not appear in the top 5 for the title odds with Houston, Louisville, Purdue and Kentucky rounding out the best odds to win it all. Arkansas and Auburn (both at +1800) are the other SEC basketball teams in the top 10.

Purdue is the only Big Ten team in the top 10 with Michigan (+2500) the only other B1G program in the top 15. Be sure to track all the odds ahead of next season with the best sports betting apps.

Here are the top odds for the 2026 national championship per FanDuel:
