Mikey Lewis, 4-star CG out of California, includes 2 SEC programs in top 6
Mikey Lewis’ top six schools were announced on social media on Saturday. On3 Sports’ Joe Tipton posted the list on Twitter.
Lewis is listed as a combo guard from the 2024 class by 247Sports. The 247Sports Composite ranks him as the No. 10 CG and No. 7 California prospect. He hails from Napa, California and attends Prolific Prep.
Illinois, LSU, St. Mary’s, San Diego State, Ole Miss, and Kansas all made the cut. Lewis would be a nice grab either LSU or Ole Miss.

Ole Miss is the only one of the two SEC teams featured on Lewis’ list who has a commit from the 2024 class. The only commit for the Rebels so far is 3-star SG Jason Jackson out of Atlanta, Georgia.
LSU is still looking for its first commit in the 2024 cycle. If the Tigers can land Lewis, it would be a great start.
Both Ole Miss and LSU are coming off of losing seasons in 2022. Adding a player like Lewis would be a step in the right direction for both programs.
Can the Tigers or Rebels lure Lewis out of California?
