Nate Oats said on Friday that Alabama came out of Wednesday night’s win over Arkansas without any additional injury concerns. The only issue still facing the team is the leg injury that continues to plague forward Taylor Bol Bowen.

Oats told reporters at his media availability on Friday that Bol Bowen “looked better” ahead of Saturday’s game at LSU.

“I thought Taylor looked better today in practice,” Oats said. “We need to keep getting him some more confidence, just with his ability, and getting his conditioning up to be able to help us. But I think we came out of the Arkansas game with no more injuries. We just got to get guys that played a lot of minutes back ready to play Saturday night.”

Bol Bowen played only 10 minutes in Alabama’s double-overtime win Wednesday night. Oats said after the game he thought the junior was “too stiff.”

Prior to that game, Bol Bowen had missed games against South Carolina on Feb. 14 and Texas A&M on Feb. 4. He picked up the injury against Florida on Feb. 1 after just 2 minutes on the floor. He played only 7 minutes in a return to the court against Auburn on Feb. 7. He played just 15 minutes against Ole Miss on Feb. 11.

Bol Bowen started the first 9 games of the season for the Crimson Tide, when he averaged 10.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per contest.

Freshman London Jemison has started Alabama’s last 3 games.

The Tide face LSU on Saturday at 6 p.m. ET on SEC Network. The Tide have a 70% chance to win the game on Kalshi.
