NBA 2023 Mock Draft: Bleacher Report’s latest first-round projections include 5 SEC stars

The 2023 NBA Draft will be here before we know it, and already, top players from around the country (and globe, for that matter) are making their names known.

The top-2 picks are pretty set at this point, it seems, with French sensation Victor Wembanyama the top prospect and Scoot Henderson from the G League in the No. 2 spot.

From there, though, anything can happen. It’s a great year for freshmen in the SEC, and in Bleacher Report analyst Jonathan Wasserman’s latest mock draft, he has 5 SEC freshmen going in the top 11 picks (all in the lottery):

• No. 4 — Nick Smith Jr., G, Arkansas — Orlando Magic
• No. 6 — Anthony Black, G, Arkansas — San Antonio Spurs
• No. 7 — Cason Wallace, G, Kentucky — Miami Heat
• No. 8 — Brandon Miller, F, Alabama — Oklahoma City Thunder
• No. 11 — GG Jackson, F, South Carolina — Brooklyn Nets
