Pair of SEC teams to play in double header in November against 2 ACC teams, per report

Virginia will play Florida and Virginia Tech will face South Carolina in a doubleheader at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte on Nov. 10th, Jon Rothstein of CBS reported.
There is no timetable on an official announcement.
For the SEC teams, that sets up an opportunity for second-year coaches to build momentum.
Florida and South Carolina are each in the bottom half of the SEC standings this season, as the Gators currently sit at 14-13 and 7-7, while the Gamecocks are 10-17 and 3-11. Though the Gamecocks have one of the headline wins in the SEC when they beat Kentucky in Rupp Arena earlier this season.
The Gators, meanwhile, have had an up-and-down month of February, with a win over Tennessee, but losses at Kentucky, at home against Vanderbilt, and most recently at Arkansas on Saturday.
Given Virginia’s recent track record as a national contender, that game will be an early barometer for the Gators.
