Well friends, for weeks now I’ve been publishing my updated Bracketology projections here at Saturday Down South while keeping an eye on the start of the month of March. But now, there’s no longer reason to look ahead.

March is here, and although the beginning of the NCAA Tournament is still a couple of weeks out, by the time I return with my next set of projections next Monday, 5 teams will have already punched their tickets to the Big Dance, and an additional 12 conference tournaments will have begun.

And make no mistake about it, you’ll undoubtedly be feeling that oh-so-familiar fever come over you. My advice to you: embrace it. This is the best time of the year to be a basketball fan, and the proper time of the year to let yourself slip into pure, unadulterated Madness.
