SEC announces 2021-22 preseason men’s basketball coaches All-SEC teams

The 2021-22 college men’s basketball season starts in a couple of weeks, which means it’s time for preseason awards to come out.
On Tuesday, the SEC revealed the results of the votes from league coaches, naming a total of 18 players to the All-SEC first and second teams.
As you can see below, Alabama leads the way with 2 players receiving first-team honors, while Kentucky placed 1 player on the first team and 3 on the second team:
First Team All-SEC

- JD Notae – Arkansas
- Allen Flanigan – Auburn
- Colin Castleton – Florida
- Sahvir Wheeler – Kentucky
- Darius Days – LSU
- Iverson Molinar – Mississippi State
- John Fulkerson – Tennessee
- Scotty Pippen Jr. – Vanderbilt
Second Team All-SEC
- Davonte Davis – Arkansas
- Jabari Smith – Auburn
- Keion Brooks Jr. – Kentucky
- Kellan Grady – Kentucky
- Oscar Tshiebwe – Kentucky
- Xavier Pinson – LSU
- Garrison Brooks – Mississippi State
- Keyshawn Bryant – South Carolina
