SEC announces men’s basketball awards, All-SEC team for 2025-26 season

The 2025-26 college basketball regular season wrapped up on Sunday, and now the SEC has revealed its top honorees for the year. On Monday, the conference announced individual awards and this year’s All-SEC team.

Regular-season champion Florida is well represented, as expected. Todd Golden won SEC Coach of the Year, while big man Rueben Chinyelu was named SEC Defensive Player & SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and reserve guard Urban Klavzar won SEC Sixth Man of the Year.

Arkansas standout Darius Acuff Jr. was named the SEC Player of the Year and SEC Freshman of the Year. Texas’s Dailyn Swain was voted SEC Newcomer of the Year.

Here is this season’s All-SEC team:
