SEC Network analyst Alyssa Lang was certainly having some fun of her own after Saturday’s postgame interview with Vanderbilt‘s Chandler Bing.

It’s kind of a certainty now that the college basketball world knows Lang is a big fan of the smash hit TV show Friends. Because after talking to the Vanderbilt version of Chandler Bing, who had 7 points, 3 rebounds and 1 block off the bench to help the Commodores take down Florida in the SEC Tournament semifinals in Nashville, Lang made a not-so-subtle reference to that other fictional Chandler Bing.

The late, great Matthew Perry played a character named Chandler Bing in Friends, and both the fictional character and the real Bing who plays for Vandy even spell it the exact same way. So, in the cheerful spirit of the Commodores’ upset victory and place in Sunday’s title game, Lang felt the happy setting was just right to invoke the name of Perry’s humorous character from yesteryear.

Lang was referencing this hilarious scene from the show, showing she could pivot from a 2026 SEC Tournament game to an iconic 1990s hit TV show in the blink of an eye.

With Bing helping that Vanderbilt bench in whatever way possible, here is what the Kalshi market currently thinks of Vandy’s chances to prevail in the title game on Sunday:
