First-year Auburn coach Steven Pearl dropped news during his pregame radio interview Saturday night shortly before the Tigers tipped off against No. 21 Arkansas in Fayetteville, announcing that forward Keyshawn Hall is “out indefinitely” for disciplinary reasons.

“The length and the duration are up to him. … We’re hoping this isn’t something that has to drag out longer than it needs to,” Pearl said.

Hall, a 6-foot-7 senior who is on his fourth team in four seasons, leads the Tigers with 20.7 points and a 45.5 shooting percentage per game. Hall transferred in from UCF for the 2025-26 season after delivering 18.8 points per game to the Knights, and was also previously at George Mason and UNLV.

Hall has been a superstar this season in SEC play, dropping 32 points against both Texas A&M and Arkansas as well as scoring 31 points against Texas. His only single-digit scoring effort this season came in a foul-plagued effort against South Carolina that netted just eight points. Hall and KeShawn Murphy also entered Saturday’s game tied with a team-high 6.8 rebounds-per-game average.

With Hall out, Pearl and Auburn will be forced to rely more on Tahaad Pettiford (14.1 ppg), Kevin Overton (12.5 ppg) and Murphy (10.5 ppg).
