Sydney Thomas is taking her alma mater to win it all.
An Alabama alumna, Thomas went viral in 2024 as a ring girl. A social media influencer and content creator now as well, Thomas has revealed her March Madness bracket for 2026.
Thomas has plenty of bold selections in her bracket. She has her alma mater, Alabama, winning it all as a 4-seed out of the Midwest Region. In Thomas’ Final Four, Alabama is joined by East 1-seed Duke, West 1-seed Arizona and South 3-seed Illinois.

Alabama would defeat 13-seed Hofstra, 12-seed Akron, 1-seed Michigan and 2-seed Iowa State to reach the Final Four in Thomas’s bracket. The Crimson Tide would then face 1-seed Arizona. Thomas has Illinois winning back-to-back games over 1 seeds Florida and Duke to reach the championship game against Alabama.
While Thomas picked Alabama to support her alma mater, it’s a tough time to be rolling with the Tide in the tournament. This week, Aden Holloway, Alabama’s second-leading scorer, was arrested with more than 2 pounds of marijuana. He is not with Nate Oats’ team during his suspension.
Alabama, without Holloway, faces 13-seed Hofstra on Friday.
