Texas A&M has reportedly landed a commitment from former Creighton and Texas Tech guard Pop Isaacs.

That’s according to 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz and Chris Hummer, who report that Isaacs has already signed with the Aggies. Isaacs initially committed to Houston out of the transfer portal last month but will instead be taking his talents to College Station for the 2025-26 season.

Isaacs played in just 8 games last season for Creighton due to injury, but he was very effective while he was on the floor. He averaged 16.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game for the Blue Jays. Coach Greg McDermott told reporters in December that Isaacs needed season-ending hip surgery.

If Isaacs can get back to his pre-injury form, he could be one of the best transfer guards in the country from this cycle. He also previously scored in double figures with Texas Tech during the first 2 seasons of his college career. Isaacs is also known as a great 3-point shooter as he’s hit over 38% of his long-range attempts in 2 of his 3 college basketball seasons.

Isaacs makes 9 transfers for Bucky McMillan and his staff as he looks to rebuild this roster in Year 1. McMillan is replacing Buzz Williams, who left Texas A&M for the Maryland job earlier this offseason.
