The 12th-ranked Florida Gators smacked around the Ole Miss Rebels 94-75 on Saturday in Oxford for a seventh straight victory – one that gave the Gators a two-game lead in the Southeastern Conference heading into the final four league games of the regular season.

Alex Condon led five Florida double-digit scorers with 24 points to go with six assists and four rebounds. It was Condon’s second straight 20-point effort, and Gators coach Todd Golden was quick to praise the junior forward’s all-around play after his team’s sixth straight road triumph.

“I thought he would play incredibly poised, did a really good job of slowing down in the paint and not being in a hurry and did a really good job on his touch shots around the rim today, putting the ball in,” Golden said in his postgame radio interview. “Obviously, he hit a 3 early, which got him going a little bit. And just, again, handled double teams, handled any kind of coverage they threw at us and really did a good job playing fast, but not in a hurry.”

Condon delivers 13.6 points per game for Florida, second to Thomas Haugh’s 17.2 ppg, and his 8.1 rebounds per game are also second on the team.

The defending national champion Gators have hit their stride as March Madness nears, as Florida improved to 16-2 since mid-December and remained unbeaten in February with the resounding road victory.

UF currently projects as a No. 3 seed, but that standing can improve with a strong finish. Can the Gators snag a No. 1 seed? Here’s how it’s currently priced at prediction market Kalshi:
