Tom Hart evaluates the top SEC basketball teams after Alabama

Tom Hart took the opportunity to analyze the top teams in the SEC, and since Alabama is clearly the No. 1 team, not only in the SEC, but this week in the AP Top 25, the second-best team came to mind.
“My inclination is to say Tennessee, they’re not the sexiest team in the world, they get it done defensively,” Hart said on WJOX and the “McElroy and Cubelic In the morning” show out of Birmingham, Alabama. “They are prone to having off nights. If this was Arkansas with Nick Smith all season, I would say it’s Arkansas, but he’s just getting back on the floor. Kind of getting back into playing shape, it remains to be seen how reliable he can be going forward. Is he going to be out there every game for Arkansas?”
Having said that, Hart concluded that he thinks it’s Texas A&M.
“They play blue-collar defense, they do all the hard-working things, they get on the floor after balls, and they’ve got a couple guys that are playing good basketball right now,” Hart said. “Wade Taylor IV came in as a top offensive scorer in the league and he’s been able to do that. And Boots Radford is kind of their heart and soul, he’s been able to do everything for them. He’s one of those guys who can impact the game, even if he’s not having a great offensive game.”
TV’s @Tom_Hart joined the guys on @MacandCube to share who he views as the second best team in SEC hoops right now.
