Tylor Perry, transfer from NIT champion North Texas, draws interest from 5 SEC programs

Tylor Perry was the C-USA player of the year in 2022-23. He also helped lead North Texas to an NIT championship.
Now, though, ahead of the 2023-24 season, Perry has decided to enter the NCAA transfer portal to try to move up to an even bigger program.
Per The Portal Report on Twitter, 5 SEC teams — Florida, Mizzou, Arkansas, Tennessee and Mississippi State — are among those to show interest in the talented guard:

Perry has also drawn interest from Minnesota, Louisville, Wichita State, Boston College, Texas Tech, Texas, Oklahoma, Cal, Wake Forest and Oklahoma State. Before all is said and done, other teams may reach out to him as well.
Perry appeared in 36 games for North Texas in 2022-23, starting all of them. He averaged 17.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.3 steals per contest.
