Urban Klavzar had an outstanding year for the Florida Gators, as he was named the Sixth Man of the Year in the SEC. He averaged 9.6 points and nearly shot 41% from the 3-point line.

While the Gators were eliminated from the NCAA Tournament by Iowa last weekend, Klavzar was quick to make the decision to come back to Gainesville for his senior season.

Every year, teams are having to go through major roster transition with the NIL, as well as the transfer portal. Florida could be losing many of its top players, as guys like Thomas Haugh and Alex Condon have tough decisions to make when it comes to the NBA.

Getting a guy like Klavzar to already announce that he is going to be back is huge for coach Todd Golden. Klavzar scored in double-figures 18 times this past season, and that is while playing less than 21 minutes. He could be ready to take that next step and be a leading scorer on one of the top teams in the country.

The college basketball portal officially opens on Apr. 7, which is the day after the national championship, and it will close on April 21. Many players across the country like Klavzar will have to be making similar decisions in the near future.
