11 SEC stars projected to go in Round 1 of Pro Football Network’s 2021 NFL Mock Draft

The 2021 NFL Draft will be here soon enough, as it is scheduled for late April.

And, as usual, the SEC has plenty of Round 1 prospects, including a Heisman Trophy winner in Alabama WR DeVonta Smith.

Over the weekend, Pro Football Network’s Ian Cummings released an updated Round 1 mock draft. As you can see below, he has 11 SEC stars being chosen:

  • No. 5 — Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida — Cincinnati Bengals
  • No. 6 — Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama — Miami Dolphins
  • No. 7 — Ja’Marr Chase, WR, LSU — Detroit Lions
  • No. 10 — Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina — Dallas Cowboys
  • No. 12 — Patrick Surtain II, CB, Alabama — San Francisco 49ers
  • No. 14 — Christian Barmore, DL, Alabama — Minnesota Vikings
  • No. 15 — DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama — New England Patriots
  • No. 16 — Azeez Ojulari, LB, Georgia — Arizona Cardinals
  • No. 19 — Mac Jones, QB, Alabama — Washington Football Team
  • No. 29 — Kadarius Toney, WR, Florida — Green Bay Packers
  • No. 32 — Najee Harris, RB, Alabama — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
