12 SEC players, including Mac Jones and Kyle Trask, make cut in Round 1 of Sporting News’s latest 2021 NFL Mock Draft

The NFL season has now hit its halfway point, so we’re starting to see which teams are good and which will be competing for high draft picks.
On Monday, Sporting News columnist Vinnie Iyer released his latest Round 1 2021 NFL Mock Draft.
As you can see below, he has 12 SEC players going in the first round, led by 3 guys in the top 10:
- No. 3 — Patrick Surtain II, CB, Alabama — Dallas Cowboys
- No. 7 — Ja’Marr Chase, WR, LSU — Miami Dolphins
- No. 8 — Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida — New England Patriots
- No. 12 — DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama — Detroit Lions
- No. 14 — Alex Leatherwood, OL, Alabama — Denver Broncos
- No. 15 — Tyson Campbell, CB, Georgia — San Francisco 49ers
- No. 16 — Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama — Chicago Bears
- No. 18 — Mac Jones, QB, Alabama — Indianapolis Colts
- No. 19 — Dylan Moses, LB, Alabama — Philadelphia Eagles
- No. 30 — Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina — Pittsburgh Steelers
- No. 31 — Kyle Trask, QB, Florida — New Orleans Saints
- No. 32 — Terrace Marshall Jr., WR, LSU — Kansas City Chiefs
