16 SEC stars crack ESPN’s list of 50 best college football players of 2018

Another regular season is in the books, and that means it’s time for a bunch of postseason lists and honors to come out.
On Friday, ESPN released its list of the 50 best players of 2018, and unsurprisingly, many SEC players were named to the list.
As you can see below, Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa checks in just behind No. 1 Kyler Murray, leading the way for the 16 SEC athletes:

- No. 8 — Josh Allen, LB, Kentucky
- No. 11 — Jonah Williams, OL, Alabama
- No. 13 — Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama
- No. 15 — Greedy Williams, DB, LSU
- No. 17 — Devin White, LB, LSU
- No. 18 — Montez Sweat, DL, Mississippi State
- No. 24 — Deandre Baker, DB, Georgia
- No. 26 — Deionte Thompson, DB, Alabama
- No. 27 — Grant Delpit, DB, LSU
- No. 28 — Jeffery Simmons, DL, Mississippi State
- No. 35 — Jake Fromm, QB, Georgia
- No. 42 — Benny Snell Jr., RB, Kentucky
- No. 45 — Derrick Brown, DL, Auburn
- No. 46 — D’Andre Swift, RB, Georgia
