The 2020 NFL Draft is rapidly approaching. With the coronavirus pandemic still going on, there haven’t been any pro days or personal workouts for players.

Will that help more players from big conferences go in Round 1? The SEC certainly has plenty of talent in this year’s draft class.

As you can see below, in NFL.com analyst Bucky Brooks’ latest Round 1 mock draft, he has a whopping 17 SEC stars hearing their names called:

  • No. 1 — Joe Burrow, QB, LSU — Cincinnati Bengals
  • No. 3 — Derrick Brown, DL, Auburn — Detroit Lions
  • No. 8 — Jedrick Wills Jr., OL, Alabama — Arizona Cardinals
  • No. 9 — Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama — Jacksonville Jaguars
  • No. 12 — Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama — Las Vegas Raiders
  • No. 13 — Javon Kinlaw, DL, South Carolina — San Francisco 49ers
  • No. 14 — Andrew Thomas, OL, Georgia — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • No. 15 — CJ Henderson, CB, Florida — Denver Broncos
  • No. 17 — K’Lavon Chaisson, EDGE, LSU — Dallas Cowboys
  • No. 19 — Patrick Queen, LB, LSU — Las Vegas Raiders
  • No. 21 — Henry Ruggs III, WR, Alabama — Philadelphia Eagles
  • No. 22 — Kristian Fulton, CB, LSU — Minnesota Vikings
  • No. 23 — Xavier McKinney, S, Alabama — New England Patriots
  • No. 25 — Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU — Minnesota Vikings
  • No. 26 — D’Andre Swift, RB, Georgia — Miami Dolphins
  • No. 29 — Marlon Davidson, DL, Auburn — Tennessee Titans
  • No. 31 — Trevon Diggs, CB, Alabama — San Francisco 49ers

We’ll see how many of Brooks’ projections come true later this month.
