Three McMurry University students, including two members of the school’s Division III football team, were arrested by police for a murder in Fort Worth, Texas this week.
Football players Dontrell Lamond Dock, 19, of Conroe and Ryan Tyrell McBeth, 20, of Fort Worth were apprehended Wednesday by U.S. Marshals in Abilene, Texas, roughly 150 miles west of Fort Worth.
The two players and fellow McMurry student Brodrick Earl Ross, 18, who was arrested Thursday, were wanted for the shooting of Chris-Dion Russell at a Fort Worth apartment complex. Russell was found by police wounded on Jan. 11 and taken to a local hospital where he died an hour later of a gunshot wound to the chest.
