South Alabama is reportedly parting ways with coach Steve Campbell, which could impact an SEC coaching staff for next season.

Tennessee’s Tee Martin and Alabama’s Charles Huff will be top candidates to fill the vacancy, according to ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg.

Indiana defensive coordinator Kane Wommack is also a candidate, per the report.

Martin is a Mobile, Ala., native, giving him ties to the area. He played for the Vols and has been on Jeremy Pruitt’s staff the last two seasons.

Huff doesn’t have any specific ties to the area, but he has been an SEC assistant coach for the last three years. He’s also spent time at Vanderbilt and at Tennessee State in his career.

Campbell held the job for three years but was fired after going 4-7 this season. South Alabama lost 29-0 to Troy on Saturday.

With National Signing Day looming, more coaching changes could be finalized in the coming days.
