The results on the field may not have been enough for Will Muschamp at Florida, but you can’t argue with the way his staff prepared players for the next level.

The Gators led the SEC with eight selections in the 2015 NFL draft, headlined by first-rounders Dante Fowler and D.J. Humphries. Humphries was one of four Florida offensive linemen drafted, the first time that’s happened in the modern draft era (1963).

Gators running back Matt Jones was the league’s third running back selected, No. 95 overall in the third round. Each of the draft’s seven rounds included a SEC running back.
