Now that Week 11 is officially in the books, let’s look at the 10 biggest stories you may have missed during the week, in no particular order:

1. Missouri head coach Gary Pinkel announced his retirement and his lymphoma diagnosis. Fans and players alike showed their support and appreciation for the coach throughout the week.

2. Georgia shut down critics for at least a few days with a come-from-behind win against Auburn.

3. No. 11 Florida struggled against South Carolina, but the Gators came out on top, and they will finish the season undefeated in the division.

4. No. 2 Alabama rolled over No. 17 Mississippi State, crushing the Bulldogs’ playoff hopes in a 31-6 victory.

5. Vanderbilt held on to bowl eligibility with a narrow win over Kentucky. Barring a miracle in the next two weeks, Kentucky will not be going to a bowl game.

6. Arkansas surprised No. 9 LSU in a huge 31-14 routing of the Tigers in Death Valley.

7. Even after all of the chaos in Columbia over the last two weeks, Missouri upset BYU 20-16.

8. LSU head coach Les Miles was heavily criticized on social media after losing to the Razorbacks.

9. Alabama RB Derrick Henry is leading the Heisman race while LSU RB Leonard Fournette continues to drop.

10. Week 11 was riddled with injuries, including Alabama RB Kenyan Drake, LSU OT Jerald Hawkins, Missouri POS Terry Beckner, Jr., Georgia LB Rico McGraw and Florida DL Alex McCallister among many others. Even Tide head coach Nick Saban suffered an injury this week.
