Many college football programs offer coaching clinics during the offseason.

It’s a great way to build relationships with high school coaches, which ultimately helps with recruiting efforts.

The schools will often do whatever it takes to make their event attractive to local coaches.

In that spirit, the star-studded lineup set to be in attendance at Alabama’s 2016 Clinic of Champions should be a pretty easy sale to coaches that want to learn a thing or two from some elite performers in their industry.

The clinic will feature NFL Hall of Famers Tony Dungy and Bill Polian, as well as former Florida/South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier and former Virginia Tech coach Frank Beamer.

That’s on top of the already impressive Crimson Tide coaching staff, which is headed by Nick Saban and includes Lane Kiffin.

The three-day event, which is only open to coaches, begins April 7 and registration is just $60.

It’s not exactly a new idea for the Crimson Tide to bring in big names for this event, as Cowboys coach Jason Garrett, former Steelers coach Bill Cowher and former Colts coordinator Tom Moore headlined the 2015 version of the event.
