2023 NFL Mock Draft: ESPN’s Matt Miller includes 15 SEC stars in Round 1 predictions, including top 4 picks overall

The 2023 NFL Draft is only a couple of months away. When Roger Goodell, the NFL commissioner, steps to the podium for Round 1 in Kansas City on Thursday, April 27, he’s sure to call more than 10 names of former SEC stars.
Many expect Alabama QB Bryce Young to be the No. 1 overall pick, but that would likely mean the Chicago Bears would have to trade the selection.
ESPN’s Matt Miller released his 2-round mock draft on Monday and he expects 15 SEC stars to go in Round 1. He has the Indianapolis Colts trading up with the Bears to take Young first:
- No. 1 — Bryce Young, QB, Alabama — Indianapolis Colts
- No. 2 — Will Levis, QB, Kentucky — Houston Texans
- No. 3 — Will Anderson Jr., Edge, Alabama — Arizona Cardinals
- No. 4 — Jalen Carter, DL, Georgia — Chicago Bears
- No. 11 — Broderick Jones, OL, Georgia — Tennessee Titans
- No. 15 — Brian Branch, DB, Alabama — Green Bay Packers
- No. 16 — Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida — Washington Commanders
- No. 19 — Emmanuel Forbes, DB, Mississippi State — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- No. 21 — Nolan Smith, Edge, Georgia — Los Angeles Chargers
- No. 23 — Drew Sanders, LB, Arkansas — Minnesota Vikings
- No. 24 — Darnell Wright, OL, Tennessee — Jacksonville Jaguars
- No. 25 — Jalin Hyatt, WR, Tennessee — New York Giants
- No. 26 — O’Cyrus Torrence, OL, Florida — Dallas Cowboys
- No. 30 — Derick Hall, DL, Auburn — Kansas City Chiefs
- No. 31 — Darnell Washington, TE, Georgia — Philadelphia Eagles
