2023 NFL Mock Draft: NFL.com’s Bucky Brooks projects 13 SEC stars to go in Round 1

The 2023 NFL Draft begins on Thursday, April 27, in Kansas City. The NFL Combine is happening this week in Indianapolis.
As players try to improve their draft stocks, media members are busy putting together their latest NFL mock drafts.
On Tuesday, NFL.com analyst Bucky Brooks released his latest Round 1 mock draft, and as you can see below, he had 13 SEC stars mocked in the first 31 picks:
- No. 1 — Jalen Carter, DL, Georgia — Chicago Bears
- No. 2 — Bryce Young, QB, Alabama — Houston Texans
- No. 3 — Will Anderson Jr., Edge, Alabama — Arizona Cardinals
- No. 7 — Will Levis, QB, Kentucky — Las Vegas Raiders
- No. 9 — O’Cyrus Torrence, OL, Florida — Carolina Panthers
- No. 11 — Broderick Jones, OL, Georgia — Tennessee Titans
- No. 14 — Brian Branch, DB, Alabama — New England Patriots
- No. 20 — Kelee Ringo, CB, Georgia — Seattle Seahawks
- No. 23 — Emmanuel Forbes, CB, Mississippi State — Minnesota Vikings
- No. 27 — Antonio Johnson, DB, Texas A&M — Buffalo Bills
- No. 28 — Cam Smith, CB, South Carolina — Cincinnati Bengals
- No. 29 — Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, Alabama — New Orleans Saints
- No. 31 — Jalin Hyatt, WR, Tennessee — Kansas City Chiefs
