3 SEC teams among top 5 most likely to win National Championship, per ESPN

There’s no question that things look a bit different across the SEC at this point with Alabama now out of the top-5 in the AP Top 25 Poll and with Tennessee quite quickly on the rise after defeating the Crimson Tide, 52-49 in Neyland Stadium on Saturday.
Obviously, something like this causes a shake-up in the national championship contender predictions. ESPN recently released its 3 SEC teams among the top 5 to win a title. Those teams were Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee.
Based on these projections, the Bulldogs have the highest odds of getting the job done at 25%. With the way the team has performed this year and what they were able to accomplish when they won the last national title, this makes sense. But it’s also easy to see Tennessee moving up here in a big way depending upon how things play out in the second half of the season.
Ohio State remains the overall favorite for now.
