4 SEC forwards named to preseason Karl Malone Award watch list

The 2020-21 college basketball season starts on Nov. 25, and there are a number of talented players hailing from the SEC.
On Thursday, the Basketball Hall of Fame released its preseason watch list for the Karl Malone Award, given annually to the nation’s top power forward.
As you can see below, the SEC has 4 of the 20 preseason watch list members:

Those players are:
- Isaiah Jackson, Kentucky
- Trendon Watford, LSU
- John Fulkerson, Tennessee
- Kevin Marfo, Texas A&M
Those players will all be key to their teams’ success this season. Will any of them end up taking home the award? We’ll find out starting on Nov. 25!
