Elliot Washington II, one of the top defensive back prospects in the 2023 class, released a list of his top 5 schools via Twitter on Wednesday.
Headlining the list were SEC powers Georgia and Alabama, which are currently the top 2 teams in the College Football Playoff top 25.
Joining the Bulldogs and Crimson Tide in Washington’s top 5 are Big Ten programs Ohio State, Michigan State, and Penn State.

A standout at Venice High School in Venice, Florida, Washington is rated by the 247Sports Composite as a 4-star prospect and the No. 178 recruit in the 2023 class.
The 6-foot, 190-pounder is also rated as the No. 18 safety in his class and the No. 32 prospect in Florida.
