4-star Alabama DL names final 2 of Auburn and UCF ahead of upcoming commitment

Caden Story has been recruited by Gus Malzahn and his staff at both Auburn and UCF. Story now says he’ll be deciding between the Tigers and Knights as he makes his college decision.
The 4-star defensive lineman tweeted Friday that he will be announcing his commitment on Aug. 1. The Story family could be a house divided. Caden’s brother is Alabama defensive back Kristian Story.
Bryan Harsin’s Auburn staff could use some good news from the recruiting trail. The Tigers’ 2022 class is down to five pledges at the moment after a recent decommitment.
A Lanett (Alabama) standout, Caden Story is listed at 6-4, 264 pounds and rated the No. 32 defensive lineman and No. 223 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2022 on the 247Sports Composite. Story’s recruiting profile lists 16 scholarship offers, including Kentucky, Mississippi State, Missouri, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt.
