One of the top recruits in the state of Maryland is showing interest in a pair of SEC schools.
Baltimore native Cam Johnson included Tennessee and Texas A&M in his top seven shared Friday. The St. Frances Academy standout has the Vols and Aggies joined by Boston College, Maryland, Penn State, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.
On the 247Sports Composite, Johnson is rated 4-stars, the No. 7 recruit in Maryland, No. 31 cornerback and No. 312 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2022. Ole Miss is among his other scholarship offers outside the top seven teams.
